  • 1 lb fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 8 sheets of phyllo dough, thawed
  • ¼ cup melted butter or olive oil for brushing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Heat olive oil
in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Step 3: Add the spinach and cook until wilted
about 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 4: In a large bowl.
mix the cooked spinach, feta cheese, eggs, dill, salt, and pepper
Step 5: Lightly grease a baking dish
Layer 4 sheets of phyllo dough at the bottom, brushing each sheet with melted butter or olive oil.
Step 6: Spread the spinach
mixture over the dough, then layer the remaining phyllo sheets on top, brushing each with butter or olive oil.
Step 7: Bake
for 35–40 minutes until the top is golden brown. Let cool slightly before slicing.
