Ingredients:
  • 12 oz fettuccine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving

Fettuccine can be found in the pasta aisle, while fresh spinach, lemons, and garlic are in the produce section. Parmesan cheese is available in the dairy aisle, and olive oil is located in the pantry section.
Step 1: Cook the Fettuccine
Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water.
Step 2: Sauté the Spinach
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 3 minutes.
Step 3:Combine Ingredients
Toss the cooked fettuccine with the spinach, lemon zest, lemon juice, and reserved pasta water. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Serve
Top with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
